the United States there are at least four ways to bet or
gambling on sports excluding betting on various types of
animal racing. Out of these four two are legal, one is
illegal and the last one is ambiguous. The Nevada sports
Books are licensed and any one can bet legally. However
there are virtual offshore bookies in every town where
bettors can wager their money. Gambling with offshore or
international sports books seems to be on the rise, and
promises to spread from phone services to Internet based
online services. Considering this point of view of bets

Nevada Sports Books. However the legality of these
services are, at best, ambiguous. There are claims and
opinions on all sides of the argument, but few legal
precedents. In a nutshell we can say that some offshore
books are run by old trustworthy firms, some are
fly-by-night scams, and many are somewhere in between.
