The Smilarities of Drug and Gambling Addiction.

Gambling:
Gambling is a game of
risk, chance, probability, and luck. One should have a
clear knowledge about gambling. Other wise this will
lead to many health and monetary problems. To avoid
these kinds of problems they have to have good knowledge
and experience. It will also improve the manner of
gambling in the chosen game. Initially many of the
people start gambling just for fun, but in the later
stages it becomes a habit for them. This leads to the
addiction of
gambling. When a person is addicted to gambling he
has to face many mental and physical problems.
Drug:
Drug is a biological
substance. It contains many toxic substances. It may be
a synthetic or a non-synthetic, which is taken primarily
for non-dietary needs. Usually it is synthesized outside
the body of an organism. It can be introduced into an
organism to produce its action. When it is taken into
the body it will start producing effects that alter the
bodily functions. It does the function of a hormone when
it is taken as a medication. But it is an artificial
hormone that is synthesized outside the organism. Now a
days drug is commonly known as the means of illegal
recreations. Drug is a substance, which is not a food.
When it is ingested it affects the functioning of the
mind, and body. It alters some of the bodily functions.
There are many types of recreational drugs like alcohol,
caffeine, cannabis, tobacco, betel nut, khat, kratom.
Similarities of drug
and gambling addiction:
Both drug and gambling
are for the recreational purpose. They are good for
health when used in a limited amount. But when there is
an excessive usage then both are harmful to the
organism. An individual enjoys while using and playing
them. They both have almost same effects on an
individual. In both the habits if a person is addicted,
it is highly difficult for him to come out of them. He
will face many problems regarding physical and mental
health. A person suffers from stress, depression,
uneasiness, and many other problems. Both give thrill
and excitement. They are fun while using. One can have a
high sprit of happiness with them.
