Present gambling scenario of Texas:

The geographical location of Texas is on both the southern and western parts of the United States of America. Since the days of the states independence from Mexico Texas has been famous for its racing tracks and the native Indian casinos. However the present gambling scenario is a lot more developed in Texas. With the introduction of slot machines in most of the casinos in Texas, the casinos have started attracting loads of gamblers not only from the home towns but also from neighboring states and the rest of the world. The Indian Casinos in Texas offers a wide range of casino gambling games including roulette, holdem and many others with a different ambience and style. The grey hound racing of Texas is also a very popular gambling event and there are many dog race tracks developed for grey hound racing.

The game of roulette:

The word roulette is a French word that means a small wheel. In gambling world roulette is a popular casino gambling game in which a croupier turns a round roulette wheel which has 37 or 38 separately numbered pockets in which a ball must land. Inn the roulette wheel the main pockets are numbered from 1 to 36 alternate between red and black, but the pockets are not in numerical order around the wheel, and there are instances of consecutive numbers being the same color. The game of roulette has two versions the American and the European. The main difference between the two versions of the game is that the American roulette wheel has one extra added green pocket marked 00 whereas but not in the European version of the game.

How to play roulette:

Usually up to eight players can play roulette. All the players play against the house represented by the croupier also called as the dealer. The croupier spins the roulette wheel and at the same time handles wagers and the payouts. Each of the player’s buys different colored chips so that their bets don’t get mixed up. The bets are placed on the numbers which can be any number including the 00 on the table layout or on the outside, and when everybody at the table had a chance to place their bets, the croupier starts the spin and launches the ball. In the end if a player wins the chips are exchanged with cash.
