French Lick Resort Being Restored to Former Glory

As reported by (Indiana) Eyewitness News: "Six months ago, French Lick
Resort closed to begin a multi-million dollar restoration of the century old
hotel. "This massive project is ahead of schedule, including the
84,000-square-foot casino and entertainment complex. " 'We will have
1,200.35 gaming tables.We have a fourteen-table poker room,' said Eric
Whitson, director of sales and marketing. ". Much of the spa area went from
demolition to renovation just this month. ". The West Baden Hotel that is
slated to open in June 2007. The French Lick Springs Resort and Casino opens
November 1, 2006."
