As reported by the Lone Tree Reporter: "The Riverside Casino and Golf
Resort will open ahead of schedule and just in time for the Labor Day
holiday. "With construction nearly finished, the carpeting down and the
machines on the floor, workers are rushing to complete the finishing touches
on the entryway and other small projects, said Cheryl Goode, Marketing
Director. "A private gala is planned on August 31 for 2,000 VIPs and
investors to sample the food, music and excitement offered inside the
upscale gaming and lodging facility. The general public will be welcomed
afterwards with a Grand Opening Weekend hosting live entertainment and
celebrity appearances. "The 58,000-sq.-ft. casino will have 24 black jack
tables, four craps tables, two roulette tables and a poker room."
