Many of my loyal followers asked that I comment on the complaint lodged against Jackpot Factory Group by eCogra. I purposely did not join the feeding frenzy that was a buzz regarding either the alleged complaint against Jackpot Factory Group or to speculate what if anything eCOGRA was going to do with this complaint.
Quite frankly I was astonished at the reaction this complaint drew from the gambling community. You would have thought that high treason was committed by Jackpot Factory. Others saw it as another example of an "alleged" regulatory group just rubber stamping any casino that paid its membership fee.
I will get into the specifics of everything but I my opinion, Jackpot Factory Group did some pretty stupid things regarding search engine optimization and had their hand slapped pretty hard by the gambling community and eCOGRA. eCOGRA handled the situation professionally by suspending their "Play it Safe" seal while the investigation was going on but ultimately lifted the suspension.
Both of these organizations, Jackpot Factory Group and eCOGRA, are operated by professional management groups and are a credit to the online gambling industry. There are too many unscrupulous casino operators out there that cheat their customers to focus on either one of these fine organizations.
