for the needy, will have its second annual motorcycle poker run-road rally
and poker tournament for the Leesburg charity. A fundraising road rally on
April 28 will cover a scenic route of more than 100 miles throughout Central
Florida. Registration starts at 9 a.m., with the last bike out at 11.
Register at the Neil Fischer facility, 7928 U.S. Highway 441, Leesburg.
There will be scheduled stops at restaurants, bars and other attractions,
where riders can receive gifts and win prizes. Entry fee starts at $25 for
poker run-road rally, which includes a T-shirt, lunch from the Outback
Steakhouse, and a commemorative pin to all participants. The grand prize is
a four-day, three-night stay at Islamorada in the Florida Keys. To register,

for coordinating flights. New this year, will be a Texas Hold 'Em benefit
tournament with registration at 5:30 p.m. April 27. The tournament starts at
7 p.m. in the clubhouse of the Mount Dora Golf Club Association, 100 S.
Highland St.The cost to enter the Hold 'Em benefit is $85, and you can play

grand prize for the Texas Hold 'Em will be an eight-day, seven-night stay at
Maho Bay Eco Resort, St. John, Virgin Islands. Poker players will also have
a chance to win raffle prizes. Angel Flight Southeast arranged more than
3,200 missions last year in five states, including Florida. The charity
relies on a stable of volunteer pilots who shoulder the costs to fly
patients to hospitals for organ transplants, clinical trials, chemotherapy
and other medical procedures. A question-and-answer session called "Answer
Your Healthcare Questions Now," featuring two local health-care
professionals, will start at 4:30 p.m. today at the W.T. Bland Public
Library, 1995 N. Donnelly St., Mount Dora. Cliff Shooker, a chiropractic
physician, and Marigrace McNamara, a registered nurse, will show residents
how to become informed health-care consumers. --------
