<p class="mobile-post">The Asian Poker Classic is expected to be the number one attraction for
2007. The lush city of Goa will be preparing itself over the next three
months, since it will be hosting the event on March 1. MaharajahClub.com
will be sponsoring the Asian Poker Classic (APC), which will be the first
professional poker tournament ever to be held in India. The event offers one
of Asia's largest prize pools, with a guaranteed $1 million to be won.
Austrian Poker expert, Thomas Kremser will be brought in for the APC as
tournament director. He has taken on major responsibilities for numerous
festivals around the world, and has also helped to establish poker on
television. Kremser comments on the upcoming tournament, "The Asian Poker
Classic is not just the biggest poker event scheduled for India in 2007 -
it's one of the biggest events anywhere in the world. With big names ready
to take part and Goa the perfect setting, it's the most exciting new poker
tournament of the year." The APC is expected to bring in many Bollywood and
Hollywood celebrities to make up the playing numbers, with announcements
scheduled after the New Year as to who will be seeing at the tables. CEO of
MaharajahClub, Sachin Pawa, said, "We are proud to be associated with such a
prestigious event. The APC will promote poker in India and we look forward
