Greater Marlboro Programs Inc. (GMPI), a human service agency dedicated to promoting the personal growth, dignity and acceptance of people with developmental disabilities in the MetroWest area, plans their semi-annual Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Marlborough Holiday Inn, 265 Lakeside Ave., Marlborough. The tournament starts promptly at 7  p.m., with a free tutorial at 6 p.m. Interested participants may reserve seats in advance, or the day of the tournament for a $125 donation. Fifty percent of the total take will be awarded to the top 10 players and a cash bar will also be available. For more information, call GMPI at 508-485-4227. Proceeds will enhance current services provided, such as residential supports, employment/medical transportation services, social and recreational opportunities and family support services, as well as help create new opportunities for individuals serviced by GMPI.
